BIO:

Ben Evans a native of South Carolina studied photography while in college and was an active member of his high school and college newspaper and yearbook staffs. This Dean’s List Recipient graduated with honors and is a Member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. He holds a Bachelors Degree in Marketing and Public Communications from Benedict College in Columbia, South Carolina. Ben interned for the Marketing Department of South Carolina Educational Television, (SCETV) and immediately upon graduating from college went to work for the IBM Corporation and later for the Hewlett Packard Company where he spent 12 years in various key positions.

Ben is also committed to giving back and is a community partner. He is heavily involved in the community in which he lives. He Co-Founded along with is Wife Monique The Children's Pride Foundation, an Atlanta based non-profit organization who's purpose is to enrich the lives of children, single parents and needy families by providing assistance in the form of clothing items, school supplies and food around the holidays. The Foundation advances this mission by exposing youth to cultural events and by motivating and encouraging kids & teens to stay in school and continue their education beyond the high school level.. He also sits on the board of Kym Kares Foundation, another Atlanta based non-profit organization dedicated to providing financial, emotional, medical and residential support and mentoring to low income families and single parents.

Ben has photographed for a number of worthy youth based charities and foundations and has donated and volunteered his time and talent to: Children's Healthcare of Atlanta, The Atlanta Area Ronald McDonald House, The Atlanta Children's Shelter, The DeShawn Snow Foundation, The 100 Black Men of Atlanta, The Real Men Cook Charity, Kym Kares Foundation, The Children's Pride Foundation, Medlock Bridge Elementary School Foundation, Tapestry Youth Ministry Adopt-A-Youth Home and he has raised funds for The Metro Atlanta Area Chapter of The March of Dimes March for Babies and Autism Speaks/Cure Autism Now.

This 23-year resident of Atlanta was Voted 2010 "Best Family Photographer” in Atlanta by MomsLikeMe.com and is married to Monique B. Evans, Founder of The Children's Pride Foundation. The couple has two sons, Ethan and Collier.
